Today, I finished laying the flooring in the kitchen and dining room. Yesterday I was pulling up carpet and removing the tack strips in the dining room. The day before, I was removing old vinyl and scraping the glue off the concrete. Last week I was installing a tile backsplash. Still need to do the hallway back to the bedroom, but sewing is has taken over top priority. So here's the new kitchen

I spent the day in Bismarck at a Anita Goodesign event. Learned some things on my new Phaff. Now can't wait to use the free stuff I got and get some Christmas projects done.

Saturday I went to Quilt Guild where I demo'd how to construct a tumbler quilt. I took some strips already pieced together, some blocks and a mockup on posterboard to show the many variations. So I did not get any sewing done but enjoyed the day talking about quilts and looking at all the gorgeous show and tells the members brought in.

Had a great day. I went to the fabric store with two friends and bought the material to finish the borders for quilts for my two grandsons. I'm a relatively new quilter and I am making these as Christmas presents for them. Didn't sew today but shopped and caught up on laundry before going out of town to visit family for Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

I'm knitting and hand sewing today. I hand quilted a 5 inch angel block, then did some embroidery on 2 christmas stockings then picked up a christmas knitted project for my granddaughter, a pocket scarf with cat prints on the pockets and ears on the hoodie. that's my afternoon.

What pattern did you use? This is an adorable baby quilt. You did a great job!

Saturday I finished the last of two table runner/dresser scarves for my sister for Christmas and in the evening made one of those infinity scarves shown on a Missouri Star tutorial the other day. That's two Christmas presents out of the way! Pretty good for me -- it's not even December!

Finished a quilt for Kids donation quilt, put together a baby boy receiving blanket. Trying to decide what to do with some Minky-type fabric... not sure it's the the real thing(from JoAnn's). Will be something of a baby gift for my hair stylist who is due in March.

I sewed strips together to make binding for my yellow/white bed quilt and did all the pin basting today. So hopefully I can finish it tomorrow.
