    It is very pretty and I bet warm.
    I love biog quilts.
    I hate when they are skimpy and
    and when the partner rolls over
    takes the quilt off you.

    Himnherr Beautiful quilt.Question,when you sewed the rows together ,how did you keep the batting from overlapping? Did you sew the batting with the fabric or hold it back when you were stitching? (if that makes sence) Blessings

    Thanks! I sewed it on the front only, first, no batting in the seam. Then when I turned it over I laid it out flat on my table and trimmed the batting so it just butted up against each other. Then I handstitched the backing. Then I sewed that seam with a straight stitch from the front. It should've caught the batting then, but if it didn't the batting was stitched by my quilting only about 1" away as I did all of the log ends by stitching them like stair steps. Whew! I hope this is clearer than mud. Lol!
