Your opinions wanted on layout
I've just started a one block wonder for the first time and wheeeee it is fun!
First I want to thank Cutebuns and everyone who participated in the threads a couple years ago about making OBW, I read them all twice and they had such wonderful directions and tips.
I found a fabric that spoke to me about snowstorms and wintery nights that I think is making excellent snowflake OBW blocks. I am going to add some paper pieced hexi snowflake blocks as well. Anyhow, though it is early I am playing with the layout. Do you like the blocks better laid out with dark blue triangles between them so each block is isolated or without setting triangles so the blocks flow into each other?
They blocks aren't arranged with too much care yet, I am just trying to determine how much dark blue fabric I would need if I choose the setting triangles.

I've done several Stack&Whacks with the setting triangles, but I have fallen in love with the OBW layout. I really like the second layout without the solid triangles between, but it's such a subjective preference. Great blocks and will be stunning either way!
