Question Please help with suggestions ont-shirt Memory quilt

Hi, this is the first time I have ever posted a thread. I am making a memory quilt for my daughter in law from her friends t-shirts. Her best friend died a month ago.
I have already made some squares (16") with a Stabilizer. The basic theme of these shirts is Tinkerbell. I am doing two appliqued Tinkerbells blocks.
My question for this one is, should I use a black thread or the green that is around the applique. Suggestions?Thank you in advance for your help.

It looks like most of the piece is already outlined with a dark line, so I think a black or dark green would be ok. BTW, very cute pic for applique.

I agree - a dark color would be better. What a nice thoughtful gift for your daughter. So sorry to hear about her friend.

Thank you for your help. I will try to find just the right color thread in the green hues. When I posted this, I tried to use "tags" and the post would not allow it. Do you know if there is a setting that would allow tags go on post?
