I got my mittens attached this morning and the border put on - just need to add backing and binding and down the road it goes. If I hadn't gotten sick for Christmas it would have been done and gone by now.

Jaba, I'll bring some hand work to do while we watch the game. If I stay home, it'd be the same. I'll have some snacks ready to go and will get potty breaks at half time. Although your house has a fire place - or is that not in the TV room? In any case, sounds like a real plan to me. Let's hear it for the donkeys - er - the Broncos!

Ooh, I'm sure hoping one of these is mine! I know it wasn't the one that was delivered today though.

wait a minute here Jaba. tell me I got this right: sewing/fabric, friends, FOOD, stocked bar? did I miss anything? GO BRONCOS GO. RUN RUN RUN! YEEEHAAAA Touchdown. ok can I come too? I sure love those broncos. uh yippee?

I received a beautiful table runner today. Waiting to hear from Anastasia to find out the board name of the person who sent it to me. It came from South Carolina I believe and its so very lovely. I will post a picture tomorrow I am so tired tonight and I apologize. Iwanted however to letyou know it arrived and its on my table as I type. ITs lovely soft fall tones looks like maybe civil war fabric? with beige and rose tone blocks on point running down the center. its beautifully quilted and well I am so very happy. thank you so very much to my mystery shipper. I promise to give you full credit soon as I can please speak up if you are the one who sent it.

I would like to take this minute to thank Elisabrat for the lovely table runner she sent to me. It was perfect and now I am really going to be ashamed of the one that I am getting ready to mail out. Yours is far superior to mine. She also included a Fons and Porter Quilting book and a real nice pattern. Thank you so much. I have taken pictures but had to take the time to watch my ALABAMA "ROLL TIDE ROLL" Football team win yet another National Championship. Will post the pictures tomorrow. Thanks again Elisabrat. You did a great job. Apologies in advance to the recipient of mine.

Sure you can "brat" anytime you know that by now. Bill said to tell everyone not to worry about snacks, he'll cater to us. Hmmm, wondering what he wants to do or where he wants to go that he hasn't told me about yet? Don't know if I'll have that little project quite done yet Vanogay for you to do the binding but you never know, stranger things have happened around this house. Is Steve coming with you "brat", the guys can have a fishing day on Sunday.
And not to forget anyone, how's MaryT doing today??? You need to check in once in awhile missy, let us know you finally got out of the snow and arrived. Honestly hope your Mom is slowing mending and getting much better.

Hi, I want to send a big thank you to Buslady for the wonderful batik table runner. She also included a small mug rug made from the leftover scraps/squares. Pus, she included a pair of warm fuzzy booties, and a special notepad with a golden butterfly on it! Thanks so much! I really liked this surprize in the mail, after having an awful manic ac Monday!

Twinkie, please no football photos (GO IRISH! WAR EAGLE!)

I felt the same way about what I was thinking I'll probably soon receive compared to what I shipped out. But, LoupEsprit seemed to be very, very happy about it, so that made me very happy too!

Twinkie thanks for the nice words. I had to keep my daughter from stealing it. I think they are all neat in their own ways different colors sizes shapes .. and all from quilters gifting to other quilters. Thats the best part. Out of quilty friendship. You cant beat that. I so wished you had posted more. It makes it easier to figure out what your partner wants who they are.. so its personalized for you. I hope everyone posts more the next round to ensure all are happy with their treats.

I just found out my partner was VJC.. ok. anyone here know who that is? here is a picture of the tablerunner she sent to me. then one that is a bit closer to show the quilting in the center. Boy one day when I grow up I might try that. not any year soon sorry.

Ta da.. i did it.. I beat those wavy borders into submission and they are now at acceptable levels.. but no.. I'm not going to show you a pic there will be one more teaser pic before it goes out which will probably be next mon.. you know.. right at deadline time.. it's how I roll. I have to wash my batting cause it's all wrinkly and I want it flat.. so I'll be doing that this week and then this weekend i will quilt and bind the poor dear and get it packaged to go.

Now.. dinner and bedtime!
