    Default Martelli Rotary Cutter

I was using my Martelli and the spring came off. I saw it fly and heard it ping when it hit something but I can't find it. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement spring for it? I don't want to have to purchase a new cutter just for the spring.

I have great sucess with calling the manufacture with issues like this. Most times they will send replacements or coupons.

I had the same problem. I loved the angle and how it cut - so, bought another. Happened again. I just use it without the guard - yep, very dangerous. The bad part is, Martelli does NOT stand behind their products!!!!

I called Martelli and they sent me a new spring. I've never had any trouble with Martelli not standing behind their products. My cutter even had the inner piece of plastic break when I was cleaning it and they replaced it for me as well. I say call them. I'm sure they will send you another spring.

I recently got a martelli cutter. I do really like it though it did take some getting used to. I did wonder about the longevity of the springs so glad to hear they can be replaced if necessary.

Here is maybe a dumb suggestion. Do you have a vacuum that you can put a nylon over the end of the hose and try to find the spring that way? And you will get the double benefit of some cleaning at the same time. I've lost my religion more times than I can count over such happening. Changing a watchband--the little pin that holds the end to the watch goes flying into outer space.
