Hi everyone. Here are our new kittens Max and Marley which Elisabrat insisted I should share with you all. They are 9 weeks old and so much fun!
Elisabrat is my not so secret mug rug recipient and we are having a great time conversing. This is my first time doing a swap on this board and I got all excited at getting my recipients name I made contact not realising that staying "secret" was not optional. Well, as we both like to chat we are having a great time emailing from opposite sides of the world. It has been a week since I sent the parcel Elisabrat so it wont be far away from you now. I haven't recieved my rug mug yet but am getting very excited aniticipating it.

Hopefully I have attached the photo correctly and you can see my new fur babies

I have had my Florida resident mug rug partner on my mind since Sunday when I mailed the package. It's -40 today where I am and I can't help but think the mug rug is heading for better times with my partner.

CAS I sewed it on when I had the three layers together. Put the rick rack between your two fabrics that are right sides together and leave half the rick rack stickout out, add your warm/natural, then sew all around but leave an opening to turn inside out. I saw one with rick rack on a previous mug rug swap and wanted to give it a try. Easy to do!!

I got my MR's today and I love them both.

THANK YOU rwquilts for making me two totally awesome mugrugs.
Like I told you in the pm I will be hanging them on the walls with
all the other doll quilts and MRs that I have received.

wil post pictures tomorrow when my battery is charged again (both
in my camera and myself LOL).

Those kitties are adorable my hubs saw them and he asked who's
"kids" where they my reply was someone on the QB they are New
Zealanders. His reply "oh so they meow upside down than?"

He had me laughing to hard I had to walk away from the stove before
    I burned myself.

Ronda - thanks again for the awesome MR's I truly LOVE the purple &
    yellow.

They seem to spend a lot of time upside down thats for sure! Hanging off things, falling off things, climbing my bare legs. They are great time wasters.

I think this thread is the best one I have ever seen on the QB. I am so enjoying seeing all the MR"s and getting to know all of you better. I, too am tired of snow and cold. We shoveled today and should have used the snow blower but after we came inside, it began again so we will have a chance to use it tomorrow, especially after the city plows go by and dump all the street snow in our driveways. Cuts a lot into my quilting time, so I am not happy with winter, either. I don't mind snow but I want some clear, sunny days in between so we can have a break. Ok, I will quit complaining. My days are better than many of yours. I am glad I am not a bookkeeper/account. Momma_K...what you wrote gives me a headache just thinking about. I am still waiting to receive my MR and it was fun to send my practice ones to other folks here. Now I will go look at the pictures of allof them. thanks Nelco for setting up a page. Lebrat..(Linda) did you notice how I used the bird scrappy you sent me? :-) Thanks ever so much!
