I like my laptop and the things I can do with it, but it can never replace the feel of a book in my hands, or the pleasure of touching the papaer. I'm one who will pass on the ebooks and magazines. Downside of being a hands on book lover is the amount of space my books etc take up, cant get around that one!

Bella - Thanks but it keeps giving me the message saying I do not
have a subscription when I paid for it on Dec 1 2012.
I have sent 3 emails with no response period. So today I am calling
them and going to force the "ugly" head of nasty attitude back into
the box.
We will see if that helps.

Quilty, If you are having trouble with the link for McCalls Quick quilts try this: http://www.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/newtrack/qq_20130203/ you put in your user name and password to open the magazine. Seems the magazines all use the same nxtbook program.

Sandy - I went directly to the McCalls website and purchased my subscription
I get the print issue just fine, for BOTH McCalls Quilting and Quick Quilts, and

Did you buy the Digial subscription thru the magazine directly or through Zinio?? I purchased a digital subscription from Country Living and it took e MONTHS of contacting them to find out why my magazines never came. They pointed the fingers at Zinoi but Zinio was never notified of the subscription.....Zinoi would send e the mag each month because I would send them n email...FINALLY. Country Living got their act together and confirmed my subscription....and added a free year to compensate e for my aggravation.
Lesson learned...buy digital magazines thru Zinio directly. They are the ones who set up the digital delivery.

I have to have my paper copies- I have to have something "tangible" or I file it and forget about it if it's on the computer. I read my magazines over and over and only keep the patterns or tips that i want. I do have a "tip"file on the computer I use, but I have to have patterns where I can just pick them up and look at and compare.

I like the print versions of the quilt magazines better and am on the fence about digital copies; some I like some I don't.
I have a space problem and will probably go digital but I don't think the software for the digital mags is very good.

You sound like me...I guess I am not hooked on this electronic age. Mags and books can't crash!!!! I have lost a "few" things on comp.
