Lucky Lucky you! I've been to Houston once but never Paducah! And although it was years ago and I spent a great deal of money, I'd love to go to Houston again! The vendors alone took 3 days to thoroughly explore! And my sis and I never did sign up to take any of the classes, but kept ourselves amused and our pockets empty just doing the show and vendors.

Well, here we are at the deadline. I will be mailing out to Tam...Moo tomorrow and they will probably get to her by Tuesday of next week. Is everybody finished or will there be any late mailings? I sure was afraid that I wouldn't be through but I made it in a better than expected manner. All I have to do is sew around my appliques and I will be through so I know I will make it! Whew, but this is such fun! I love our group!

Now, we'r talking the first set, right? I get so confused sew easily these days!! I only have my snowmen in my head right now, I hope to get them closer to the fabric this weekend. Went out of town for 2 days, then down to daughters yesterday. Tomorrow it is to Caro to watch DGS and DGD wrestle. Then off to the church for our group. Working on the All around America quilt. That one is fun, but a one time thing! LOL

We are on to set #3 (counting our own). I've already got Tam-Moo's set and will be doing some serious searching tomorrow to come up with some more ideas. I have a few in the hopper already! Woohoo!! More paper piecing on the horizon!!!
I also have ideas lined up for CharlotteMarie's snowmen blocks. All applique too!!

CharlotteMarie, to answer your question I am behind (hanging head in shame). But it will be in the mail Monday. The last 2 weeks have been crazy busy. Then we had a hospitalization and death in the family in the middle of it all. Tonight tied up with family and tomorrow will be funeral and taking care of elderly family coming in for funeral. Sunday will be sewing and getting the last block done. I'm looking forward to it as it will be a good stress reliever. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Raineyday Quilter, it's okay. I myself did not make it to the post office today and I hope to mail to Tam...Moo in the morning. The last block I was working on kicked my behind. It was still working on it at 4:30 and that is when the post office closes. I am redoing the block tonite and will mail in the morning. We all have our not so good days. Monday is okay. Buslady this is the second set due counting the one you made. Hope that makes sense.

Tam...Moo, I got the blocks shipped to you today the 4th. I was late because I had a bad reaction to an antibiotic and it has affected the tendons in both legs. I can almost not walk and it is very painful. I read about it before but now I have had the problem twice in the past year counting this time. Nevermore! Won't take them again. So sorry to be late!

Don't ya just love that auto spell thing. LOL Tam...Moo, I have enough toilets, thank you. LOL!!!!! I started my snowmen last night. Whoo Hoo! Gonna be nice if I can make it look like I want it to. Is it OK if my blocks are not all the same size, as long as all the same height. I did that with my last row and it worked out pretty good. My snowment are not gonna fit on a 12x12, so stead of 5-12x12, I may have one 12x19, making up the difference in the other blocks, but all adding up to the length of 60 1/2. ???? As I am typing this, I thought of a way to do it in the 12x12, if that is what you prefer. Just please advise. I am having fun with these, and my mind does not sit well with all that "evenness". LOL Getting some show here. Hope for a long weekend snowed in. Me and my sewing!!

Is it my snowmen? I am assuming yes, you can do whatever you think. I can deal with it no matter what. Just have fun with it, remember no stress, this is a good fun group. My snowmen will be happy no matter what.
