Christine, Bo Nash Powder is used for mending tears, holes, burn holes in fabrics of most all sorts. Someone on another list mentioned it to me so I went online to check it out. Believe me, once you iron over the powder, its just about impossible to remove the patch. I was going to try to stuff the patch inside the hole as I wasn't happy with the results but I couldn't get it off so I just trimmed around the edges and I'll wait till it wears or frays off to attempt again. The stuff does work though. Another name I found is 007 BoNash Powder. There's a video out there to see some of their examples how they do certain types of fabrics.

Thanks for looking at my quilt.

Its good to know that the bleeding might come out with additional washings with the color catchers. I'm sure if I had used more than one the 1st time I might not have had this problem. This is my 1st bleeding episode with my quilts and I use a lot of bright colors.

This quilt is 96 x 96, largest I've ever attempted. I was making a different quilt for my mother when she was living in her own home but since moving in with me, her bedroom colors changed and she noticed this one and claimed it. So I still have the one I originally made for her to give to some one when I actually finish it.

Thanks to all for the nice comments on my quilt. It really helps me to strive forward.

WOW! Very beautiful. I've wanted to do a log cabin quilt, but couldn't decide on a color combination. Love your color choices...you've inspired me.

I really love the way you used the reds in this and the quilting pattern you used on the white areas. I find it much more interesting than the feather pattern that is so popular!
