    Where did you find the cute hangers?? I had a vision similar to what you came up with for my granddaughter!! love it!!!!

    I love it, and so will that lucky little girl! If you really want to upgrade from the shoe boxes, someone recently posted a link to a free pattern for fabric storage boxes, and you could custom size them to fit the shelf space - just an idea. I have lost track of the link, but it's not rocket science (for a quilter, anyway) to sew a box, and you can use plastic canvas or recycled cardboard to give it body. I think the design I saw had pockets that let the plastic or cardboard be removed for machine washing.
