I have participated in the 1.5 and 2.5" swaps. I have wondered what others think if they happen to get 1.5 and 2.5 from me that are the same fabric. At first, I tried to keep the fabrics seperate, but I have done so many swaps now that I have lost track. So now I make sure that I cut some new fabric for each swap. That way I know there will be at least some that are different.
I agree with Wardy74, though. It doesn't bother me when I get the same fabrics in both swaps. I am just looking for more variety than what I have on my own.

I am cutting for the 2.5", and 1.5", and I am in love with the idea that I don't have many small scraps, as I cut down for the 2.5", and am able to get a couple of 1.5" with the leftovers.. At the rate I am going, I should be done in time for both.. I also was able to get scraps from the LQS, and hopefully infuse different fabrics from the other swaps I did..
You bet I am having so much fun doing it..

Hi All, I haven't even started...but...I do have my starching & pressing done for them...I'm also doing a 2.5" swap...I've been busy sewing these 1.5" bits into squares to incorporate with the 2.5" quilt...
I never thought I would ever be working with such tiny pieces...the one thing I have a problem with is the random picking of the squares...there are some pieces I just can't put together!!!!!

Honchey-- you'll get used to these "small" pieces! Looking forward to seeing your progress on your project with both sizes of stamps! Looking good so far!

Sheri- glad you are making progress on yours. How are those "Grandma's Closet" quilts coming along-?

not good....not good. I can't seem to multi-task them. I'm afraid I should stop everything else and only sew my Grandma quilts.... And grandma's been sick too. I need to get them done...
