I actually did templates for it. I drew up what I wanted and the boss did it on auto cad for me.

Emma, yes, it is to good for a bronco fan, but just right for the airforce.

Getting there. The scrappy mystery is quilted - just threads to clip. One Spicy Spiral table runner is ready to sandwiched and the next is cut out and half pieced. Still haven't switched printers so I can post a picture.

I am working on the AboutQuilting.com New Year Mystery quilt 2013. I was short a couple HST, I sewed up this am, then ripped then sewed, then ripped again. Got two blocks done. I hope to finish this before it become a ufo. I have only abandoned it twice already this year and that is since Jan 1. I am going to have to pull out another ufo to work on. How about that quilt I started two years ago and it is still waiting to be taken to the press shop to get pressed so won't bleed when washed, then marked for quilting, which should take approximately a week just to mark, being sure I don't do what I already did and used disappearing marking pen. Yes, I marked the bugger and did nto realize that it was the disappearing pen. What a challenge mentally to take it up again. I think, when done, could be another award winning quilt. We will see if I can execute what is in the brain onto the quilt. It is similar to the quilting done on Fraew's applique quilt except my daughter colored roses on it. It is based off a 1930's quilt. No photos yet, but will post after back from the press shop.

For march I will try to finish some Disney signature quilts my daughter made her three kids ...last summer. I got backings sewn for two yesterday. I'll sew the third one Monday and then sandwich and quilt them. I think I'm going to FM Mickey Mouse ears all over them!!! Or attempt to lol.

I think I am now on the winning side of this tshirt quilt!!!! It is going to finish at roughly 112"x142" and weigh in right around 10 pounds.
I have the top and back pinned together at the centers and am ready to sew the sides together before making the miter corners and then turning it. Wish me luck!!!

I have a question, did not want to make a new post on this so thought to ask on a couple of the busier threads, but what do you consider earth tones? I consider earth tones to be blues, greens, browns, and a brown red could be in that as well. I am making a quilt and I really considered it to be earth tones, but the DH and DD said only sorta. Where am I wrong? I did put in a neutral of an off white/tan. No, I don't have a photo of the fabric, but just thought the color scheme was right on. What did I miss?

I think of earth tones as what most people refer to as Autumn colors. I wouldn't include the blue.

Personally I'd consider autumn colors as earth tones, but I know some people consider only browns as earth tones. So I guess it depends on who you ask.
