    Ah, invisible thread to attach the hankies, what a great idea. I can't wait to begin, have to finish 3 other quilts before I start on the hankie quilt. I need to find 4 hankies in the blue/aqua/yellow family - to complete what I need. Thank you for the inspiration.

    Thank you for posting pics of your quilts, avgquiltr! I have a dozen or so of hankies from my late mother, and your pics gave me an idea for table toppers...one for myself and one for each of my sisters....and I'll do them with red sashing in honor of Mom. Thanks again!

    I recently finished two quilts for my sister. None of which were crocheted. But I fused them to a block of muslin, starting with glue baste it and then crazy quilting them to it. They worked well. Glue is soluable and washes out. My hankies were all different sizes also. So I cut them and fit them on the muslin.
