    Smile Hi Fellow Quilters....

It's been a while since I've checked in....there have been a lot of things that have taken me away on busy schedules, but this morning I told myself that it was time to get back to the board.....hope to meet up with some o of my olde friends here...and meet some new ones......
It's a snowy day here in Springdale, Newfoundland.....so a sew day is definitely on the agenda....
I'm thinking that I'm due a couple of days away for some fun and quilting....and would love to find an upcoming retreat that is "quilt-guy friendly" so if any of you know of a retreat that I may enjoy....please free to make a suggestion...I am looking forward to once again becoming a regular on the board....I've missed the posts, chats and fellowship....
Quilty Hugs across our creative realm :-)
    Bill

So glad you're back! Don't know of any retreats. I'm in the back of beyond and don't often see other quilters except here in the cyber world. Like you my schedule doesn't lend itself to such either as I work most weekends.

There used to be an awesome retreat in Cape Bretton. I haven't seen anything for a while about it. I was also interested. Granted, you would have to take that long ferry ride, but it would be worth it. I will keep you posted if I find out anything about it.

How far do you want to go for a "few days" Matt owns the Quilted Bear & is always at the retreat, there might be room still. http://www.quiltedbear.net/retreats.html

Harrison Hotsprings is beautiful. Never mind the quilt cruise I want to go there. The only bummer is whenever I am on the west coast there is soooo many family members to visit that I never get to sew. Ever. May have to just go there and not tell anybody LOL
