    It looks wonderful to me. I love the colors. I hope if I ever get a chance to make one it comes out that good. She is going to love the quilt.

    Your quilt is very pretty and it looks so soft and cozy. If you want advice to make it easier the next time, I would suggest Deb Tucker's Lemoyne Star ruler. It goes together like a dream - no Y seams, easy to follow instructions and piecing. I've done several, and love the technique. Good luck!

    Thank you for the advise I did not know about the ruler will have to check it out. That was my problem I couldn't get the points to match up correctly. I did a lot of stitches to try and pull them together in the center. Then the sashing did not line up on point like they should have. I used the cutting mat mostly for measures. All in all it is ok . You can tell it is handmade if you look close. Thank you
