Default Scrappy Pinwheels Mini Lap Quilt

Well, it's been awhile since I have made anything - busy with job interviews . Wanted to do something with all of those left over triangles I created when I made a bunch of flying geese for my patriotic stars and stripes three tours quilt. For this reason the pinwheels are not made to specification but from my stash. I also wanted to try my hand at appliqué as I have a more advanced project to work on. Didn't have any interfacing so instead used a bit of glue and white cotton fabric to back the yellow fabric before machine stitching it onto quilt top. ( used zigzag stitch and changed the stitch length).

I hope the job interviews have yielded a job, or soon will.

Great quilt - I think the yellow star 'makes' the quilt!

That is a cute quilt. Don't you just love to create something beautiful out of scraps?

How pretty. Red, white and blue is always a sure winner, isn't it?

Very nice, I have a ziplock bag with triangles and another with 1" x 4" strips, thanks for an idea to mull over.
