I am surprised you got this far using the wrong seam amount. Did things match up? Keep going, it looks great in the photo.

That is a stunning quilt. It deserves to be finished. As long as your seam allowances are consistent, it should be OK. I love the colors.

No way you should start over. It is beautiful and I was told once so what if it isn't 1/4 in. just be consistent. Your colors are gorgeous. I love it what is the pattern?

Finish it. As far as I know there is no law that says you have to use a 1/4" seam. By the way it is beautiful and nobody will know it you don't tell them.

What you have done looks great. The main thing in quilt seaming is to be consistent. I say finish it up and enjoy a beautiful quilt.

Finish it. If you need a name for your quilt...call it 'Learning Experience'.

It started out as the Mariner Star pattern in the Shining Star book by Judy Martin. My mother half way through decided it would be too large and asked me to change the design...

I tried to read all of the other responses, so I hope I'm not repeating something that has already been said. I learned to sew clothing first -- 5/8" seam. Then I took up quilting in the dark ages when everything was drawn by pencil onto fabric and cut with scissors. We used 1/2" seams. When I restarted quilting seriously a few years back, I was amazed to learn about 1/4" seams -- and that they hold! Your work is beautiful. That's what counts.

As long as all the seams are the same, it will probably be fine. beautiful
