Since my DH is a mechanic, he knows about good quality tools. It's when I want something simple made, or rearranged - he wants to make it bigger 'cause that must be better! LOL He really leaves any household stuff to me. I think it comes from waiting until he was 40 to be married.

I love all your funny DH stories, but I have to say....at least you still have a DH. Mine will be gone 16 years next week, and I would love to have him around to complain about. Now all I have to complain to is the dog.

Sneaking up on me when I'm sewing is a big no-no. Finally threatened that I was going to pepper spray him the next time. He now lets me know when he's coming down the hallway.

Your stories have certainly entertained me as I drink my first cup of coffee. As for my DH honestly I can't think of anything off hand, but that could be because I am just happy to have him. He was in a very serious M/C accident in April and honestly I am lucky he is alive. So right now, he is in the clear and can pretty much do no wrong. Life would be so awful without him. I thank the Lord each and every day for letting him stay with me, and pray he will be back to new soon.

But, thank you for all your stories : )

I have been married 54 years, there is not enough room on the internet to hold all my stories of, " oh no, you didn't!"

My Husband of over 51 years doesn't go into my sewing room. I keep old scissors in a handy place. He use to use my glass cleaning diaper for a rag. I explained what I used it for, end of problem.

Even before I started quilting DH and 3 daughters knew "Mum's sewing things are off limits - NO exceptions"

Not funny but funny still! This is typical, I think, of many of their sex: overdoing everything. Overkill.....and in the case of y our blueberries and apple tree......literally!
