    Miriam,

I'm curious about those on the shelf, I've seen them, but never paid much attention to them.

    Steve,
Your machine is similar in shape to my Louise.

    Skip,
That is a machine reminicent of the 30s era streamlined locomotive for sure. Cool machine. What needles does it use?

My DD uses it as a computer desk and I constant have to remind myself that there is a sewing machine in there....

It is on the top end of the list of my "to get gone" machines....

Glenn, that "locomotive" really floats my boat. I think it is beautiful. I don't think I've seen one quite like it. The only crinkle finish machine I have is one of those beautiful embossed White machines due to the kindness of Cathy. I killed three birds with that stone: (1) I have a White treadle machine which I wanted (2) I have a black crinkle machine which I wanted, and (3) I have the most beautiful of all crinkle machines (IMHO) - the White embossed.

I am enjoying this thread Joe. Thanks for starting it.

I have one of those locomotive machines, too. It is hiding somewhere in the depths of the shop. There are a couple Kenmore's, MW and who knows what. Ugly know no bounds.

Maybe you can dig them out when you come up. I think the wires are rotted or something.
