    Default Shadowbox quilt

Just finished this shadowbox quilt for the goddaughter's 18th birthday. She loves the show "Family Guy". I've been wanting to make this quilt and the large prints were perfect. Haven't ever done mitered corners before & luckily there weren't many. After 4 practices on throwaway fabric I was ready to try it for real. The most important thing I discovered was I was better off stopping a 1/2 stitch short on the actual mitered point otherwise I ended up with a wrinkle.

Beautiful quilt. Not sure what mitered corners are. Is that where the teal and black joins?
