Wow, neat Jillnjo. I will be on the look out for it. We just got home this evening from vacation and I didn't take your DQ with me, so really need to get back to working on it. Have to grocery shop (among other errands) tomorrow morning, but will make your DQ part of my day. It really is almost finished, just some more hand work and the binding...It will be ready in time, just later than yours...I'll let you know when yours comes.

My DQ has been ready to mail since last week but my partner doesn't want me to mail it until she has hers ready to come to me. Not a problem at all...I am thrilled mine is ready to go. I really sweat it out before I finish one...silly, huh? Bertie nice to see you posting again. I was in Genoa last week...what an adorable town!

Don't feel rushed! I know you will get it sent to me and I do so love to find the packages in the mail! I love gifts, I admit it and I love to make little quilts. If I didn't swap DQ's, I'd probably seldom make a small quilt.

Now, I just picked my green beans and need to snip them to get them canned! Everyone have a nice day.

Tesspug, I just crack up every time I read your sign-off line as it so perfectly describes the fibs I tell myself!

OK, I have a story. I think I can tell it without giving too much away. I have BertieD's quilt done, cept for "finishing up". Since I live in Michigan, and the Robin is our state bird, I wanted a pc of fabric with robins on it for an embelishment idea. Checked the local WalMart and called the LQS that is about a half hour drive from work. Many circumstances prevented my getting there! Anyhoooo!, DH and DMIL were going to "the city", so I sent them on a mission. Joannes and I don't know for sure where else they went, but they couldn't find a pc of fabric anywhere that had a robin on it!!! Now, this is MICHIGAN and the ROBIN is our state bird. What is wrong with this picture? LOL DH says, "you'll just have to make one", and I did. Now to finish it up, and I won't be home before Saturday night, but Sunday is THE DAY!! Tootles!!
