Okay I pulled more stash fabric that my friend gave me and somewhere in this combo is the fabrics for my second table runner. From what I understand... all these fabrics are at JoAnn's in case you like them.

I haven't got a design sketched out yet but I'm sure once the fabrics start to talk to me, I'm sure to have a pretty good idea what it wants me to do with it.

    I have been contact with
justnananettie and waiting to hear back from Nancy In Louisanna. As for the thread question ... they haven't talked to me yet ... and I'm thinking that my varigated thread could match in nicely with either of the fabric combination.

Well my friend is on her over with some more goodies so I'll run for now.

    Toodles,
    Tricia

It is so relaxing to read all the energy you ladies are revving up! I am going to do plum jam today - picked yesterday. Have some great apples to do applesauce and apple pie filling, but not today.Found 3 lines of fabric I am crazy about - ordered some and am waiting now for my delivery. Have the pattern that I want in my head, just got to get in down on paper and of course it will include a bit of embroidery. Just love embroidery! As for the road trip, the way you girls are driving I wouldn't be "on the way" but no problem I will meet you anywhere to join the fun. To cross the border we may have to leave some necessities to purchase in Canada. But heck that would be fun too! I vote for fall 2014 - but by the time we travel there and stop at every LQS we can find, stay and sew a while, I'm thinking min. a month. What do you think?

Pink Lady - Come on down. We can go on a road trip any time ! There is the Shop Across Texas every September. Imagine how much trouble we could get into - especially picking up a couple of TX quilters. My car will sit four comfortably and has a big trunk !.

If we are bringing the bus- wonder of there is a qulter who drives a bus - there would be room for machines and some notions. No need for extra clothes- the comfier the better. Wear one and wash one. Wash a load a day and it can dry while we are sewing.

MartiMorga- How about two months - one going up and one to sew !

Pink Lady - do you think hubby could get that Inn started? He might be happier with the gigging away from the house. Poor guy- does he deal well with silly women and late night raiding of the fridge ?

All of this home canning and storing is making me mighty hungry ! I may just have to get a container garden going next spring. We did do tomatoes and green onions one year. Not much, but it was yummy !

    Quercus Ruba very nice fabrics

Sapdoggie love that bottom row The first one I may just sneak down in the middle of the night and grab it. I have the last one but hey where is it I forgot I had it. Oh that is not good must get my act together.

I love all these sneak peaks.

I have not told hubby that I invited a pack of quilters over what he does not know will not hurt him
He will not care he likes to meet new people and as long as there is something to eat when he gets home he is good. He deals with one silly woman all the time what is a few more.

Tomorrow I am going to get start on my table runner or well at least get my room clean up so I can see the table.

    Tlambing - I'm diggin' that jack o'lantern!

Haven't done much on mine yet, got diagnosed with a severe case of vertigo this week. Hoping it goes away soon....

Almost done with mine. Just the rest of the last long side of the binding to hand stitch. And maybe a wee bit of hand quilting on the center. Seems like it needs something there.
