    I wrote my own pattern using only squares and rectangles. Another one checked off my "quilts to do" list! YAY!

    That is beautiful, a good Nebraska Husker quilt!! It is on my bucket list. I did notice somewhere on the web the directions for doing that quilt the way you did. You did a great job.

    Hunter's Star is my favourite block. Your quilt is gorgeous and I love your colour selection. Thank you for sharing.

    I always wanted to make the Hunter's Star but didn't want to paper piece or buy a special ruler. So I decided to write my own pattern. It took 3 or 4 days and lots of test blocks, but I finally did it!! I love creating patterns, so much fun! I also made a Hunter's Star block that is 25"!!
