Welcome to the board and this group briarwoodpups! Gorgeous finishes too... I want to make a quilt from small 9 patches one day so I'm really partial to that beauty! Great job.

Briarwood: Great quilts! Just recently was bitten by the applique bug so your flower quilt is really inspiring. Then of course there is that great scrappy love the design. In short great work welcome to the group, because of their inspiration I have finished five bedsize UFO's this year and am working on the sixth.

Oh my, what a wonderful show Briar, those are simply awesome finishes. Way to use up those scraps.

Here is a finish. This little guy has been sitting around since 2005 because I was afraid to quilt him or forgot about it. I did this all on my domestic machine, Bernina 165.

The pattern is from Elenanor Burns Delectible Mountains. This quilt measures 13 x 13. Took me 3 hours to quilt it.

QMomma any one who thinks a small quilt doesn't take much time hasn't made one! Very nice.

Finished binding this one today, a UFO from last winter. I had originally planned to give it to my niece (8 yrs old) who loves cats, pink, and purple, but she saw it while it was in progress and didn't like it because the cats weren't realistic. I'm very glad I found out before I gave it to her, and will probably end up donating it to Project Linus.

kaelyn--that is a fun quilt that will be appreciated by some little girls. I like your flowers in the quilting.

Question: Do you have to do the quilting yourself or, after it's pieced, can it be sent to someone else for quilting and then you put on the binding?
