My box is 2/3 full. Going through mom's boxes of fabric is a trip through time. I found material from outfits I made in high school (60's), outfits she had made, pieces of quilts she made for each of the grandkids. Don't have any idea what to do with the polyester fabric. It has been a wonderful trip.

I'm traveling for work until the 29th, so if you PM me and I don't respond, bear with me.

In the meantime, is anyone attending the Natural Products Association Expo in Baltimore this week? That's where I am!! Let me know!

Grandma Di I have a tablecloth made of polyester..a friend made it for me years and years ago..it has a crocheted edge..wash and put it back on the table..no ironing..looks nice...you might make one of those with your mom's poly...if you crochet that is!

I am in. I have decided to sit out the Doll Quilt swap next time due to a diagnosis yesterday of thyroid cancer. I will need surgery, but this is something I can get ready now.

Lilrain I will add you to my list of good thoughts and prayers. I have a friend that had that about 40 years ago and she is absolutely fine today! Wishing you a speedy recovery! Meanwhile, welcome to this really fun swap!

I've not started putting my box together yet, but I do have a box! Problem is, it's so hard to decide what to let go of. I have tons of fabric for stuffables, lots of block size panels (mostly nature stuff& Christmas), a good bit of kiddie fabrics that are bright & cheery but I don't know when or for what I'll use them, and lots of stuff that I look at and think I don't want to get rid of that or that it's too pretty to use, lol. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and put some stuff together here! I can't say that I don't have the fabrics to part with, just that it's hard to decide what to let go of! My fabric is like my children, but I'm sure we all feel that way.

I'm picking the "kids" that have had a "failure to launch"

My box is filling fast. Can't wait to get a name to send to. I'd like a little more info about reciepent so I could gear something to their liking.

Once you know who you are swapping with you can send that person a PM to work out details like favorite colors or types of fabric.
