The Texans fabric I have is the "official NFL licensed" fabric. It is an all over fabric with the word TEXANS overlaid with helmets ever so often. The repeat ends up being 4" squares on the diagonal of the fabric.

I'm currently using a deep red blender and a dark navy blender plus a white with narrow red lines and tiny blue stars and another navy with white stars. Will take a picture in the morning of what I've done so far.

The first grouping I did I used a red and blue on a cream background but didn't think it looked right since the Texans fabric had a white background. That one is going to end up a pillow!

Oh, and I really don't want to do appliqué. Saw a beautifully done quilt on this board with a large appliqué Texans logo that she did herself, but I'm not that brave.

I don't mind either way I will just be doing it at my own pace. I have changed my mind three times so far for the centre but just realised I have sampler blocks from when I started lessons at my LQS I'll go find them they are 12.5 to finish at 12. I am looking forward to getting started.

I'm fine with starting the rounds in January. I don't know yet what my center will be but I am trying to figure it out.

Oh so many lovely centers. this is going to be so much fun. I am ok with when ever you start. I will be gone most of January but I can always catch up.......no problem for me. I am not taking my machine to Australia. someday maybe I will be able to have a machine stored there for me......I know I am dreaming. LOL. MY friend from my guild is also going to Australia (her 12th trip....she is married to an Australian) and she will be going to Perth this time.
So M-Fay I gave her the information about Kalgoorlie and the mines there. She said it sounded really interesting.
I love the idea of putting a cover on the Washing Machine........I had one when I lived in my house but here in the townhouse it is a stackable.
I am so excited to get started.............
