My stash busting Christmas quilt!
#98
The original pattern was for a 35" square wall hanging. I love all things Scrappy and knew I had to make this one as soon as I saw it. I found the original pattern in the Annies Quilt & Sew November, 2013 catalog on page 7.
Here's a link to their catalog: http://www.anniescatalog.com/catalog...mber_2013.html
Not sure if this link brings you to the exact page or just the catalog, but go to page 7.
I wanted something festive and colorful to have on my sofa for the holidays, so I only wanted this as a lap quilt. Since I didn't want it square I added to additional rows of background fabric above the star. I also added an additional row of green at the bottom of the tree. I cut all of my squares to be 3.5" so they would finish at 3". I pulled out several different fat quarters for the greens and the background fabrics. I used up all of the extra blocks in the second pieced border. I love the way it turned out and am truly humbled that so many of you like it as well. Thanks.
