    Oh what a wonderful find! I found a hand pieced quilt once and I still wish that the person that made it knew that it found a loving home. It is a very pretty quilt, congratulations.

    Great find. It's beautiful and I'm sure that the original maker would be pleased that somebody now owns it that truly appreciates the time and effort she put into it.

    I always look for fabrics in the secondhand shops nearby, never find something like that. It's wonderful that you got it and will love & care for it....but can't help but feel sad for the quilter who put her heart & soul into something that someone else 'got rid of'. So I'm doubly glad YOU got it! Enjoy!

    after reading on this quilting board I look for scrubs at thrift stores. get them for $2 each. some of them are really neat .I also pick up mens shirts and jeans.
