Thank you Emma. I really enjoyed doing this one and thanks to Judy also. There's not one top I didn't like. Roma is my cousin by marriage and just happened to see her name pop up on here a few weeks back. Talk about a small world??? I think I will be doing this one again but larger to make a twin. LOL and as you can see I am a control freak. Just could not go totally scrappy. Have a great day and a safe trip home Roma. Hugsssss Retta aka Chefbwarner

Wow, a bunch of beautiful quilts this morning. JC, love your fabrics and the different take on the mystery. Judy, what a great ride!

Question for those of you who made larger tops. I want to do this baby quilt size. Do I only need to add 1 extra row or do I need to add two? I am going on a quilting retreat next weekend and I would like to have everything precut so I can just sew.

Anoka Quilter...if you see my post #824 there are a couple of options for baby size & a bit bigger. Also, if you want a square quilt or a rectangle.

Emma, That would be fun, only problem we go 395 and over MT Hood so wont be on the 5. When you come up to OC give a heads up. We can meet. I have another quilt friend from here, we get together for dinner once or twice a year. She gets my scraps, and makes quilts for the needy thru her hubby's car club.

I'm not big on pink, but this is beautiful. Love how the dark green sets it all off.

Still trying to decide on the border. I would really like to use those 1 1/2" leftover strips and am thinking of a modified piano key border. Suggestions??

    Jane
Wow, that makes a lot of difference in the blocks. I think the piano key border would work well.

Oh, Poker Diva, that is really pretty. Love the triangle/border pc. Is it a rust color? I love this pattern - do we know the name of it by any chance? There's so many pretty ones from this ride. I have really enjoyed it.
