I would love some suggestions. I have the pattern Sew Little Time from Best Fat Quarter Quilts 2012, and the biggest piece is 5x 9 1/2. I tried one of the fat quarters and it is looking a little chopped up.
    Thanks.
Look through the Turning Twenty books……there is one that has several very large blocks that were intended to contain embroidery - but you could substitute a large scale print instead…….Cannot put my fingers on mine to give you exact title - but the cover has a red and white quilt that uses the large blocks…...

I love Heather Petersons books Livin' Large and Living Large 2. Both are well written and easy to follow. I love that she tells you which direction to press in order to get your seams to nest and match perfectly. That is something that I never take the time to figure out, and when I use her patterns, I don't have to.

I love the Turning Twenty pattern. I have done several where I wanted to preserve the fabric picture.

I have seen "Easy Does It" made in large and small Kaffee Fassett reds....gorgeous! MSQC has a pattern that uses layer cakes. I have also seen books with patterns showcasing large scale prints that are both fussy cut snd cut into flying geese units. Spectacular!

Sewing with Nancy had a large block pattern, block is large with 4 1/2" and 2 1/2" strips. It was on here not long ago.

This is the one I have made. Love it. I'll make another one when I find a big floral print.

I really like this one and have marked it for when I can find a big floral. I have avoided buying them in the past but this one is a great pattern to use with one. Thanks for the link!
