This is what I use for my stash of ribbon, it is a pants hanger.

Enjoyed all of the ideas. I use some of these too. A large popcorn tin is my waste basket. I glued a plastic bag to the inside then put quilted fabric on the outside and turned top to the inside over the top of the plastic bag and glued it down. Works good.

I found this great milk rack(for glass milk bottles) for next to nothing at a salvage yard. I wish I'd bought more. I sprayed it with two coats of clear sealer to protect the fabric. I bought small glass cream bottles at another salvage shop, and use them to store scissors, markers and point turners.

This cabinet was in the back room of one of the old houses at our place. It stored oil, filters and cans of nuts and bolts for many years. I bought some white base cupboards for my sewing room and brought this cupboard over for added storage. We had to use a forklift to take it from the old house to here. It took a couple days to get it cleaned up but I love it in my sewing room.

I use GRUNDTAL kitchen rails & hooks from Ikea over my cutting table for scissors/rotary cutters and rulers. LOVE those things! Keeps things really nicely organized and (I think) it looks nice too.

I found a wire Christmas card holder at Goodwill that I use for holding my rulers.
I am in love with your red table! The ruler storage is a good idea too
