    Default Accu Quilt at JoAnns

Has anyone else checked out the sale on dies for Accu-Quilt Go cutters at JoAnn's? Bought one at store, but had to order the other that I wanted. Even with tax and shipping, much cheaper than I had found them.

I normally order them online. The Joanns near me seldom have a sale on the dies or the ones I want plus you can't use a coupon. I go to the accuquilt site

I did not buy my Accuquilt cutter from them but most of my dies I bought from them because they usually have the best sales. You can also get an additional 10% off in store if you sign up for their VIP card. If you belong to a Quilt or Sewing Quild you can get the VIP card. There may be other ways to get a VIP card but I know you can get one if you show your Guild card.

I do not buy my dies at Joann's, I go on ebay to buy. So much cheaper.

With shipping and waiting for an on-line shipment to arrive I would think the JoAnn Accuquilt dies/cutter that are 40% off and then the 10% VIP discount price would be very hard to beat IMHO.

So do you sign up for the VIP card or just show your guild card when you make your purchase?

You have to sign up for the VIP card, but you can go online. If you belong to AQS, you can also get the VIP card. It just has to be some quilting group that JoAnn's recognizes.

You can't use your 40% of coupons for the AccuQuilt items at Joann's. I'm surprised they would let the VIP card reduce the cost too. It's not Joann's, it is AccuQuilt that controls what the other vendors can charge.

yes sure did ! My husband got me Accuquilt for my birthday and I saw the dies were 40% off at Joann's I went to the store closest to me and they didn't have them there. There was another store 30 minutes away that does carry them, but I didn't want to drive there without knowing if they had the dies in stock that I wanted. When I checked my email when I got home, they had free shipping so I ordered 3 that I wanted. You can't beat that! Sewforless.com also carries the dies for a decent price. That's where we got the Accuquilt from ..It was the lowest price I have seen anywhere.

Since Accuquilt changed their policy I kept track of the online shops that carried the dies. Many discounted the dies they had to 60% . I have bought all the dies I didn't have. I always posted the links here when I found a clearance sale on the dies.
