    Cool Reverse Star Scrappy

I've been wanting to do a Reverse Star pattern for quite awhile, but I didn't want a full size quilt of these so I decided to go with 4 big blocks in a medallion style quilt. I preferred white prints and pastels for the stars rather than solid whites.

The Double Pinwheel blocks were leftovers from the King's X quilt I made. They were bonus blocks by moving it over 1/4" and sewing an add'l diagonal line. Since there were so many HST's left over, I just turned them into pinwheels and placed them in the orphan box for later use. I think they were just the blocks I was looking for to perk up this Rerverse Star and give it some light!

Voila! A quick use of orphan blocks while trying out a new block, Reverse Star! It'll make a nice charity quilt! This quilt makes me happy and I loved doing the Reverse Stars! Hope you are inspired! It's 51x51.

I love using these little stars in quilts. Your little quilt is quite cheery. Good job using scraps!
