I'm Angie, here in SE Kansas. I'm new to quilting but not to sewing. I've been making clothing for years, and am now using up all those scraps into strings and hexies. I use a Singer Scholastic 717 and a Brother XL2600i for my work. And hand needles.
Nice to "meet" you all!

Thanks ya'll!
Love the hand quilting too...my very first quilt is a hexie that's handstitched and quilt as you go. It's 9 months and counting, 3/4 inch hexies, made from mine, my late mom's, and stepdaughter's clothing, including the backing fabric for it. My machine project is a string quilt made in pinks made from scraps, some of my old clothes, and some my SD has grown out of, and am about 1/2 done with twin size top, just ordered an open toe darning foot to work with to do free motion on it.
If I had a chance to make all the quilts I want--I will never die.
