    Default Brother Innovis 2500D

I have an opportunity to buy this machine but would like to know if other users of this machine like it? Also, I think there is a way of knowing how much the machine has been used by some count - not sure about this as I have never had a sewing/embroidery machine. The most important question for me is I want to use the machine for sewing quilting designs on quilts. Is it necessary to use stabilizer when you use it to quilt? So many questions - I know- but I need to know its capabilities.

    Thanks.

I don't know anything about this particular model (I own 4 Brothers but not this one.)
I can answer your question about quilting with it though. No stabilizer is needed when you quilt. I use mine like that all the time and I love it.
    Happy quilting.

I have this machine I LOVE it. yes, you can find the stitch count by touching the icon that looks like a sheet of paper on the top left, scroll to page 6 and the stitch count is there. No, I do not use stabilizer when I use it to quilt a quilt.

I had this machine but traded it in for a Quattro(6000D). I love it. A friend of mine has a brother embroidery with 1,000,000 + stitches and has no problems. Do routine maintenance once a year and it will keep performing.
