Default Need Quilting Ideas for Disney Panel

I just finished the flimsy for my DN first baby (boy). They've chosen this Disney panel for the theme. It will have a faux piped binding w/one fabric having curlicues on it (medium blue). Quilting w/my 15" Bailey on a frame. Planning on quilting around the different parts of the panel, Mickey, Pluto, clouds, stars and moon. Clouds around the words above Pluto. W/my DSM, stitch on both sides of the lines delineating the different areas. Thinking curlicues in the plaid section and plain section. Maybe loops w/stars for the large border or larger curlicues????? The dark blue narrow strip is a faux piping similar to the one on the binding to frame the border. Using C&C Star machine quilting thread variegated blues on top, white in bobbin. Soft & Bright poly batting. Backing will be coordinating patchwork fabric w/Mickey, Pluto, and clouds alternating w/plaid.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Not fond of heavy quilting. I'm not quite an intermediate quilter.

Texture! Stars, clouds, wind...things like that would look great.

I would first SITD in the blue skinny borders using a blue matching thread. Then outline the characters. Fill in the center panels with clouds and then I would just use stencils to mark the various borders with the best matching thread. I too don't like overquilted especially baby quilts.
