It depends on WHERE you bought your Robert Kaufman Kona cotton. If you bought it at a chain store, you bought 2nd quality fabrics. I buy my Kona cotton at major quilt stores such as Fabric Shack or Hancock of Paducah. Fabric manufacturer's sell fabric that are not up to quilt stores standards on the secondary market which mostly end up in discount chain stores. Unless you see the original Robert Kaufman label on the end of the bolt, most likely you are looking at lower quality of fabric.

Love your quilt. Great selection of fabric !!

I recently purchased Kons fabric from Burkholder's in Denver Pa. A high end fabric store. It did nothing but fray. I sent a email to Kona/ Kauffman. They responded right away. They asked for some pictures which I did email to them. in return they asked for a few samples of the material. I just sent them off on Friday, they should be getting them this week. they are very nice to deal with. they said they will work things out for me. Along with my samples i sent them the receipt for my fabric also. Good luck! By the way, i love your quilt!!!!!!

Love all that fabrics used in the blocks! That pattern set it off right too.

Your choice of fabrics is really good. The colors are good together. I am thinking 'SUMMER'.
