What a great sewing room. It only needs a bed and you could live out there.
Looks like another hot day here and it might get up to 90 and humid. I know I couldn't live where it's 100 and humid. This is too hot for me. I finally got a few things finished. The chickens were tests for last months swap.
Everyone have a great day and stay cool

Love the pictures! I was actually working on a needlecase yesterday, trying to decide what I want to make for this swap...yes, no, maybe so?????

Welcome paperpieceme...I'm sure you and I would be good buddies! I ADORE paper piecing!

Lynnie and Louise...I used to bring home every stray cat I could find, and then I found out I was severely allergic to their dander...so no fur babies for me...

What a nice sewing area!!! I have a small bedroom that I call my "studio". I feel it elevates it from the ordinary. LOL!

Karen, Zoey is preparing for a Labor day visit with one of her boyfriends. don't know what she's planning yet, but she's been a bit demanding of the boars hair bristle brush, she want's her face and hair brushed alot. so she's prepping for something big.

Louise, my kitty is like yours. Don't you just love how they rule our lives, and we just go along with it.

Pat. love those chickies and the ladybugs too. great cushions.

With paperpieceme, how many do we have now. Looks like a large group this month. I can't paper piece to save my life. I've tried and tried. maybe it's the ADHD or the dyslexia. can't figure that out either. Maybe one day i'll learn. they have such nice patterns out there for it but i can't do it. One day my Pieces will come!

Lynnie, it took me several trys too. I kept making such good friends with my ripper. Then just all of a sudden the process hit my brain. Then I thought well that's not that hard what the he#@ is wrong with my thinking. It's just one of those things that I think if someone was right there with you to show you and say'no not that way' then you could learn it quicker. Even watching videos took me awhile. Start with a pattern with only a few pieces like maybe 4-5 pieces. till you learn what's going on. I tried with a pattern that had maybe 20 pieces and some were very small.I choose it cause I liked the design, not how hard it woud be for a beginner. Big mistake. Have a couple good rippers ready when you learn and aftertoo. LOL.

It's 88 with a dewpoint of 69. After the ride I thought I could stay home in the AC and sew. No I had to pick up my DGD at school and it was almost the hottest day of the year. And I had to go 1/2 hour early to get a parking spot. This is Day 2 of school. It sounds like Zoey is going to have a better time Labor Day weekend than I am. This wallhanging I did was paper pieced and the 2 Santas were too.

The view off my front deck. In the second pic to the right, the red boat furtherest out is DH and the white boat behind the yellow boat is DD. You will have to enlarge the pic to see them.
