Lynnie all my life I have carved out a space for sewing in my home. This has always been a dream since I was a teen, at 60 I have my dream and still will enjoy it. My house in Pe Ell has been taken over by my sewing and quilting. Husband is so happy I can finally move my quilting out and he can have a house. I still have a sewing room in my house but now I can sew with all of my friends and family. My mother was a collector I only wish I could have set this up while she was still alive. All of the Bernina's belonged to her. So many happy memories to share learning and creating.

So interesting to read about everyone and what they are doing. Welcome to all of the newbies The quilt on the wall is one I started from the board it is called Spike your mothers flower garden or you can find it at Quilting on the Square Designs. The blocks are paper foundation pieced. Remember when paper piecing to follow the acronym TSP trim, sew, press. I lucked out and was able to take a class from Carol Doak. Try her beginning quilting book she rocks at paper foundation piecing. And that view ... oh I would die and go to heaven I love being able to see the water and the changes it goes through with the seasons and weather. You are so fortunate to be able to have that. I was told rain is coming this Saturday so I hope it will get cooler.

Wow great pictures all. Sis,love your littleman great- grandson. Elayne,Carol Doak is one of the top teachers. I would love to take one of her classes. Lucky you. We finally got a inch of rain about 4pm today. It went from 100' down to 73' right now at 8pm. Finally have the fans and ac off . Maybe able to sleep well tonight with the windows open too.. The pasture is so brown that this probably won't be enough to bring it back. Have a good night all.

Elayne my paper piecing book is by Carol Doak. I watched another video on it tonight that was pretty good. I may try again soon.

Rosemary your kitty is so cute. Your great grandson is just so sweet looking. Very nice picture of the 'Happy Couple'.

Pat while commenting on your paper piecing before I think I forgot to tell you how pretty those pincushions and needle cases are. I also was looking at other little things you had hung up. So many pretty things.

Love all the pictures.

We haven't heard from Peg in awhile. I hope everything is ok. I know she was getting ready to home school. She has a lot on her plate with 2 special needs kids. She mentioned before that she wouldn't be able to join in Sept. swap but that Claire wanted to. I know purple is her favorite color. I'll have to send her a personal email to see how she is.

As requested here are pictures of the kids. These are older
(3-4 years). So I will list their ages at time of picture.
However Kiko is about to turn 8 years old on Sept. 9, Gizmo,
Nim are 6 years now as of July 9.

Picture #1
Kiko (pronounced key-ko), 5 yrs old laying on a quilt my
friends from another website made for me. This quilt can't be
brought out without being taken over by the kids.

Pic#2
Kiko as she can NORMALLY be found, this photo was taken
3 days ago. We call her the lumpy rug because we are always
tripping over her.

Pic #3
Nim was about 3-1/2 here. Taking pictures of her is hard, as
she almost always has her eyes closed in them. This is one of
the rare photos with her eyes open. Her coloring has gotten
extremely darker now as you will see in the second photo of
her.

Pic #4 most recent photo I have of Nim.

Pic #5
Gizmo aka "The dude" is out only male. He doesn't like to cuddle
but he is our sweet boy. he was 3-1/3 when this photo was taken.

Pic #6
Most recent pic of the dude was taken this past April. He LOVES
my hubs laundry day. My hubs will sit on the floor to sort his clothes
and Gizmo just loves to lay on the floor and rub all over his feet.
When hubs isn't sitting on the floor on Saturdays, Gizmo sits on the
dryer waiting for someone to walk by so he can reach out and snag
them (with claws sometimes) to get closer to pet him.
You can see how cross-eyed he is in this photo.

Enjoy the photos now it is time for me to get ready for work.

I just love all the pics of the kitties. How cute is Gizmo with the cross eyes. Rosemary what a great family and a really cute great grandson.
It's 71 this morning after some rain last night but the dewpoint is almost 70. I'm getting ready to get some groceries while it's cooler out.
Here's a pic of Kitty. She's about 15 now and this was taken 2 years ago.
Everyone have a great day

Oh such cute kitties. I don't feel so bad that Zoey has put on a few pounds lately. (Too many treats) but she's demanding, and those of you who have cats, know what it's like to have a demanding kitty and not give in to them. (They can make your life hell). Kiko, Nim & Gizmo look like the have the life. Thanks for the pictures, Louise. Pat, Kitty has such a sweet face. But aren't they all sweet in the pictures. then they get demanding and want pets and rubs and treats, and excessive attention and we just go along with it like it's all normal and natural. WE are Suckers for a cute face.
Only a few more day till mailing date. can't wait.
