Hi everyone! I can't believe how many we have signed up. That is great. On the mini quilt swap some of us plan to use them in little groups on the wall going out in different directions close to a chair or in any room or nook that could use something special there. They can be used in any room. Maybe a little one laying under a special book you read at night, etc.

    Goodnight!

We have one more swapper signed up. Her board name is Likethedog (Starla). She is in for one pc. She was my swap partner for this last mini swap. She will fit in just fine. She loves kitties and she does canning. She sent me some plum jam and plum sauce that she canned. They actually won best of show at this year's county fair. Let's all welcome Starla.

    Morning girls,
I am getting ready today to mail my needle book to whomever I get to partner with. It is getting close, huh? I found a couple things to add to the inside while shopping Thursday.

I am finishing up a UFO this weekend. A really old one that was one of the first items I ever made. The center is hand pieced leaves, so perfect timing to finish it up and gift. Those template days are long gone and not missed by me! I am so glad smart women came up with rulers and cutting boards. What a big difference it has made in our craft.

I love the pixie cat. She looks very happy with you. And your purses are beautiful.

Oh dear! Plumb jam! My favorite.

I saw those jams on the other board. Boy oh boy did they look yummy. I can just taste it on a warm toasty
English muffin ans smell the sweetness of it. They looked so good.
Welcome Starla, you'll have fun here. can you show us apic of your cat??? I love pictures!!

    On another note,
Zoey is getting ready for her adventure on Labor day. This time, she's going out with Patches.
He's a dark ginger cat who rides a motorbike and wears a fake eye patch, (he thinks it makes him look cool,
but always forgets what eye he puts it over so he switches it up a bit) and wears a black biker jacket,
Zoey thinks hes 'cool' and loves his strong muscles, he used to fight alot, and has scars to prove it.)

    Good morning everyone.

It's proving to be a beautiful day here at the cabin in
Grand Lake, CO (actually it is Shadow Mountain Lake)

Here is a picture of my view from sitting at the table
    while I am sewing.

    Have a great day.

On a side note using my FTC-U software I tried my hand at
digitizing a design using the "auto-digitizing" feature. I am
quite surprised and pleased with how this design came out
although I am playing around with the stitch texture.

Louise, I'm jealous! I would love to be there with you instead of here in Hot Florida! It looks so beautiful!

I'd like to be on the lake too. Instead I'm in hot Ohio. It's only 86 but the dewpoint is in the upper 60's. I did some yard sales this morning and there weren't really that many. I had been buying the canning jars (not to can) to put things in with the pincushion top and I went in the garage and I have a whole box of them.
Pixie is just so cute and all the quilts are nice. I love the cake pincushion and the vintage lady one. Your purses are very nice. The girl that was missing was the one they found. They are not saying what happened and this weekend there are so many visiting the National Park. I hope there is not a nut loose. The woman in my city was stabbed to death and not shot and she lived less than a mile from me. My DS keeps telling me to lock my doors but I never did in NH only when I went out. I hope Zoey has fun tonight
