Rosemary, Can Pixie fit in the portal that Zoey uses under the bed to travel thru. If she can, Zoey is always hanging around about 12 midnight. She goes under the bed to go see her friends thru it. She can travel anywhere she wants without all the hustle and bustle of airports, buses and trains. She says it's the best way to travel, thru the portal and then tessate. She swears by it. Right now she's at the lake with Patches Jet skiing. I'll tell you all about it when she comes home, takes a nap and then tell me.

Well, I had to do a total re-do for my swapper! She likes very different from what I had made for the swap. No matter. I have it all done except the hand work for the binding.

I put my back out seriously yesterday morning. I am hobbling around like a ninety year old with a cane. Oh dear, I guess hubby will have to take me to the chiropractor tomorrow. Oh joy...

Lynnie, Pixie's a very fat cat, daddy feeds her to many treat and she sleeps a lot... She can get out if she wants through the garage, she plays there everyday and meets up with Lucy, Goldie, Blackie, Fluffy and Fred... Not sure here they go or what they do, but know that Pixie comes in has a snack and then off to the closet for her nap... She might have a story for me if I ask, she comes up on my lap just before her lunch and gets a message, I also brush her on the bed every morning after her breakfast... Talk about spoiled. If she should happen to see Zoey she will tell her all about it and then you will have to give Zoey a massage and brushing every day... What's her favorite treat???
Pixie likes the Temptations with the cheese in the center, she's not into the fish treats, just chicken, turkey and beef...
Well need to go and catch up on a few emails, have been hanging here to long and going to start on my pin cushion tonight...

I received both of my names and can now go to work to create something I think my recipients will love. I have a question for anyone who knows...in this swap is it normal to send extra goodies? Thanks ahead of time...

By the way...loved seeing all the colorful pictures, especially of the needlecases...such fun ideas!

We all send extra goodies, me, a hand crocheted washcloth, fancy pins and a homemade magnet..
this is the last magnet, i can't thread the needles anymore. Unless i can thread one, no more of them for awhile.
I love fancy buttons and JesseyJames and button it up buttons. I have a big zip loc of them. Also, any old sewing machines you may have laying around your house,'specially the toy ones, you can send to me.

Rosemary, Zoey loves those, with the cheesy middles. She's a little piggy, she begs all day for them, pleading with me, that this is the last time she'll ask, yeah right. She has some chubs too, but still looks good in a hot pink bikini. She's still sleeping from the lake trip, hopefully she'll tell me what happened. Her boyfriends don't seem to mind a little around her middle. more of her to brush and love and pet all day.

Some people may add a little extra something but it isn't necessary. Sometimes I add a little bag of M&Ms. It's chocolate but doesn't melt in the summer heat. It is totally up to you what you want to do.

I must have read through 5 pages. I didn't think I was busy yesterday but everytime I went on the board something else came up. Karen you are doing a great job as hostess. Great cat tales. I thought I'd finish my pc this morning but instead I made a bookmark from the tute from Mary. I had a different shaped heart so I had to adjust where I cut. Then I had my email and now it's almost time to go out. No wonder I never get anything done. It looks like it might rain the whole time I'll be out. It's still humid.
    Everyone have a great day

Thanks ladies for the info regards "extras". I love doing them myself...just didn't want to get in trouble if I sent some goodies.

I made my family laugh at me when I got all excited about getting my swappers names yesterday. Can't help it, this has been a fun thing to do and I look forward to it quite a bit. It may be a week to week and a half before I get anything in the mail though. The needle book was started a week after I got the go ahead to do limited use of my left arm. Wound up getting a pacemaker a little over three weeks ago for a fainting issue that's been a problem all my life - turns out my heart has this thing where it just quits beating for a bit and down I go. I've had so much more energy since then that I've been going stir crazy! So, between hand piecing hexies, sorting my fabric scraps, sewing up the needle book and fielding calls from work I've been trying to keep busy so I don't lose my mind. Anyway, I'll wander off now and finish the needle book and get started on the pin cushion.
