Ok ladies and gents (?), as promised here are BETTER pictures of the
fabrics I purchased at the LQS in Grand Lake, CO.

This red just will NOT show the print for some reason I even took the
into the day light and couldn't get good pics.

Argentium ... I know you must be feeling much better and have energy that you didn't have before the operation. My mother in law got one and she has had no problems with it after eight years of having it. Just be a good patient and everything will be fine. Her quality of like improved so much that she golfs and walks daily.

Gee Louise! You sure got a lot of fabric for your money!

Oh and girls thanks for your prayers. I can actually stand up straight today and walk with out pain.

No not really that much fabric. The FQ's cost 3.75 each, and I got 12.
All the other fabric except for 3 where only 1/2 yard cuts.
The red, Christmas mouse coordinate are 1 yard cuts.
The and the purple/yellow stripe is 3 yards and that was on sale 50%
    off.

So as promised here are the pictures of the chenille spread.

First photo is dad & hubs holding it up outside. Of course the
wind decided to pick up at that time, but at least the rain stopped
    long enough to get photos.

This is how it looks on the bed.

This is the flower at the top of the spread.

Pretty Bedspread Louise. I like the way you fixed the edge of it.

    Louise,
My aunt gave me a chenille bedspread many years ago and I repaired it and used it for about four years in my spare bedroom I had done in shabby chic. It finally was beyond using after the last wash, so I cut it up the colorful sections and made baby stuffed animals after I ironed on light-weight interfacing to the back to stabilize the good sections. Even though it wasn't torn or damaged, I felt it was a good idea anyway, since the fabric was so old. They were a big hit with a baby quilt and a few gowns.

I still have some of the white sections left and have thought of making a puffy stuffed wreath for Christmas for my bedroom décor. I can't remember where I saw that done, but it was really darling with pink strung pearls and soft green velvet leaves.
