I'm back home now. Today went pretty good. It's the kind of job that's perfect for me. Just sitting at a computer entering data, nobody bothers me, no phones! The time goes by fast.
Boy, did I ever miss a lot. Lynnie, I loved Zoey's story. Of course, I always love her stories. Mary, your grandson is really handsome. Good luck with all your tests. We know you can do it! Pat, love your bookmarks and needlecase. It's like the one you sent me with the cats. Louise, what a heartwarming story about that 80 yr old lady. Congrats to you also! Susan, I would love to see a picture of the bag you made. Need to get some dinner. I'll check back in before going to bed.

Dear friends - I plan to get the pincushion mailed hopefully by Saturday.

It would have been in the mail yesterday if I had not been so lazy.

Today I talked to the boss at work, and he told me that one of the guys
(the former owner who came back to work for the new owner this past April),
would not be returning to work. So I asked him if THIS was FINALLY going to
be my chance to come full time.
His answer was NO because he wants someone who can work the office
AND warehouse. I reminded him that I KNOW the products we sell, I KNOW
the Mfg. we rep for, and I KNOW the office, and customers I just don't know
how to drive a forklift which is something I CAN learn!
But by hiring someone else means not only will they have to learn the office,
and warehouse they are going to have to learn the product & Mfgs.

So I am stepping back and NOT saying anything else. I am going to LET him
    hire someone else.
Than he is going to be SORRY he did that.

1 word is ALL I have to say discrimination!

I am so beyond bummed that all I seem to do is cry now.

Talk with you all later. Going to eat dinner and go to bed.

Thanks for letting me vent, even though I didn't ask first.

So sorry Louise, been there in the past. get even, don't teach him the office. the real truth here is THey DON't Want a Woman in the job. total discrimination. Maybe talk to higher ups. if that doesn't work, higher ups in the government might help. I'd love to see what they'd do if an unqualified man showed up and a qualified woman showed up. HA! they'd hire a dumb man and pay him more. idiots, is all i can say.

How come no matter what, this is never at the top in the swaps???

Louise dear you don't have to ask anyone if you can vent. As others said, you are among friends. I am hoping it goes better for you, but I know one thing if one door shuts to a person usually a better door opens up. If they are doing you wrong then they will find it out in time in many ways.

Pat that is such a pretty heart and needle book. That fabric is so cute.

Lynnie thanks for that story about Zoey. You should keep them all in a folder for a book.

Karen I will show a pic of the bag as soon as I can.

Mary those are great pics of your handsome grandson. He is lucky to have a sweet grandma.

    Hello to everyone else also!!

I tried to post earlier, but my computer wouldn't let me. I had to call tech support for help.
Mary you are an awesome grandmother. He will always remember what you did for him and be ever so grateful. You will be happy of your accomplishment as well.
I forgot about making the bookmarks, must do that.
    Love the kitty fabric.
Got to get started on my nc.

Mary, what you did for your grandson is the greatest gift you could have ever given to him.
He may not appreciate it now, but he will someday. You gave him a life of opportunities.

Louise, hope things are going better today.

Swap Partner, you should get yours tomorrow. please post a picture for me.
