Teresa as soon as I posted, then there was yours. lol

What a beautiful needle case. I do love that button on the rich purple fabric and fancy sewing. Such pretty touches to it. Wow! That is some pretty fabric. You also received a great package.

proper thank you. I've typed her name at the top, but it's not coming up. very
frustrating. Anyone know how to find her??

Teresa, pretty needlebook. I love the extra fabrics too.Pat ,what a really neat train and such a good picture of it. Lynnie, we don't name the bulls because we sell them or butcher them. When they are sold at the sale barn we never know what they are being sold to be used for. I try not to think about it. We did sell him with his mom as a set. Not to be sold separate. He is only going on 4 months old and we don't wean them till about 7 months old. This way maybe whoever bought them won't separate them for awhile yet. I been raising beef cattle for 34 yrs. and still it bothers me to think of them as beef. We do name the heifers. Ours are just big ole baby pets. Like having a 1.500 lb doggie. LOL. Everyone is doing a great job on this swap. Have a good day.

Mary, he's such a cutie, any more picture b4 he leaves?
At what age are they usually weaned. How are MALE
cows sold as beef. are they Angus or just plain old beef?
I only eat filet mignon, so I don't eat it that often. My
stomach is paralyzed, and beef is terrible to digest, just
    curious. He was a cutie.

    Dear swap partner,

Your PC is boxed up and ready to go. I scheduled a USPS pickup
    for tomorrow.

A small clue you live North from me, and I haven't seen many
(if any) posts from you, so maybe I need to "stack these pages
a little better just in case I missed any posts you did.

I had to reopen my box and take out my PC so that I could take
pictures of what I made you, just in case you can't post pictures.

Hope you like what I made and will find it BOTH useful and decorative.

Another small clue it has purple LOL (sorry I couldn't help but be a smart
    mouth today).

Lynnie no more pictures as we took him to the sale barn yesterday to be auctioned off. So he's gone to his new home already. There's no such thing as a male cow. males are bulls. females are cows when they calve. After a bull calf has been castrated he is a steer. Mine are black angus crossed cattle. My bull calf's daddy was a white color (neighbors bull jumped the fence). He got his color from him. His mama was a black angus. Hope I explained this clearly and didn't offend anyone.

Mary, so the baby bull grows up to be a black (or in this case a white angus) burger?
I come from Farmingville, but the only farm there was veggies.
So being that randomly half of all born babies are bulls, for example, they go to market
to be black angus burgers, and the cows go as plain meat burgers. Is that correct?
So if they aren't Black angus steaks, are they mixed with cow burgers? how does that work.
I heard only one bull per a bazillion cows, so that must mean that alot of them make it to the table.
Is a white bull worth more. never saw one, just your cutie.

It was 53 this morning when I left the house. It did warm up to 75 in the afternoon but 52 tomorrow morning. Another day chasing the train but at least it was sunny. It's hard to take pics while holding an umbrella. More great swaps. I always wanted to try the dresden plate. Hopefully mine will be in the mail Tuesday. I just need to stay home to get stuff done. I'm sure not a farm girl but I'm watching the BULL riding tonight. Love those cowboys.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
