I have decided I will cut off the corners, just after the yellow border. Do a couple rounds of the Robin. Then add some side pieces to the cut off corners and add them back to realign the on-point and so the same exact fabric is added later. I think I will echo the flowers and NYB blocks on some of the other borders. And try many new techniques! Woo Hoo!

I really like that panel. I'm sure with all the colors you should be able to find fabric that would match. Just take it with you to your LQS and they would be glad to help you out.
