Congratulations Cathy! That is something I hope to one day hang in my sewing room too.

Such a cool thing. Though if I had to choose, I think I'd pick the prezzie in the box:>

That is apple juice - I'll use it to make jellies as I have time. My husband has food allergies so I put up a lot of what we eat. That is why I have a "summer kitchen" and out there I can get both 21 qt canners going at the same time (BTW, I have 4 pressure canners LOL!) I have an induction cooktop in the house, so I can't use my big pressure canners on it - but I can BWB so I did them in the house.

Hopefully I won't get in trouble for this - my pantry. I participate on another board for that kind of stuff, but always tell them to come here if they want to know more about vintage machines.

Nice tin! It looks like it's brand new. That box is nice too. My favorite just might be the pantry though. My mom used to can and I miss it.
Maybe I'll start learning next year, I think the season is mostly done this year.

Geez, can I come live at your house? I love the new toy and the pantry is making me hungry for some toast and fresh jam this morning. You are well stocked!

I was looking at some of the shuttle in the tubes last night. Looks like I've got some work to do, as many are not correct. I figure someone took the caps off to see what was inside, and didn't get them back on the right tubes. They are all unique enough that it's not that hard to figure it out. The needles could be harder - but so far what I've checked is correct.
