Good morning swappers. Moosegirl and Charisma, your blocks are done and will be in the mail on Monday. Sorry I was a little late.

My two January swaps are also done! See what happens when you get snowed in in Maine!! Still snowing after 4 days! Quilter girl and Up North, your blocks will also be in the mail on Monday.

I have been trying new to me blocks and it has been a lot of fun and sometimes a learning experience.

I agree that a good blizzard is perfect weather for spending time at the sewing machine. We got at least a foot of snow here in eastern Maine. It gave me a chance to work on blocks, too. I have a good supply of hand-applique work to do in case the power goes out. Happy sewing!

    Brrr..
I wish you folks from up North would stop sending cold air my way. It's supposed to be around 55 at night and 75 during the day here now but when that cold air comes it drops my temps 20 degrees! 44 at my house this morning with the high expected to be 56 and it's supposed to hang around for a week! Even though no snow it still gives me an excuse to stay home and sew. I'd rather be warm.

Suzie, you can have all our cold air. Right now it's 15 degrees and the wind is howling, can't even imagine what the wind chill is, another good day to sew by the wood stove! I envy that high of 56, right now that would feel like a tropical heat wave.

I have never canceled my golf game due to heat but let it get under 50 and I'm a wimp! I didn't move to Florida to be cold.

Sorry you don't live as I do in an RV and if the power goes out we just hook up our generator for power.

I have so many things I could do if I can't sew. Might even be a good thing for me.

Hope you get it on soon, I, along with others is watching for the name and information on a partner.

I think my block from Moosegirl has been eaten by the mail??
I was hoping for yesterday's mail but nothing, maybe tomorrow. Boy the mail is getting slower & slower these days?
