I'm so excited to see the KDAZ 620. I have one! I was even able to find a manual. It "runs" great but I can't get it to pick up the thread from the bobbin. The long bobbin and the bobbin "case" are replacements. Also, sometimes the needle hits the needle plate. The manual is no help but does show how to thread it of course. The bobbin case looks exact.
Does this machine take special needles?

Both are neat machines. Cari if I remember right the lady with the Morse zigzag had read about the meeting but wasn't actually a member. I don't think she signed on either which is a shame, she would be a good fit here.

Based on the way the Tenks is made, it looks very much like a New Home treadle I have that was made in 1912. The only real difference is the decals.

I'm going to add a little something here about the KDAZ620 machine that was mentioned above. I have one badged as a Dressmaker. It's the same 3/4 size long shuttle machine but it takes stitch cams.
