    I found a simple butterfly outline clipart, printed on fabric, then cut the fabric just slightly smaller than the outline. For the ones that "fly" I fused 2 layers of fabric, then sewed it down by FMQ the body only, leaving the wings loose. Thanks for the compliments. Here is a better pic of the 3D effect.
